American Legion Post 171 proudly visits veterans at Lorien Health Services in Mount Airy, Maryland. These visits provide companionship, conversation, and connection for veterans who have served our nation and now reside in assisted living.

What We Do

• Monthly visits to Lorien Health Services
• Fellowship and conversation with residents
• Sharing stories and experiences
• Providing music, photos, and meaningful engagement

Why It Matters

Many of the veterans we visit do not have regular visitors. Our time together brings connection, recognition, and appreciation to those who have served. These visits are meaningful not only for the residents, but for our members as well.
